Our Journey

Journey Beyond Barriers began with a personal experience that revealed a challenge many mobility-challenged individuals face. My dear friend Nicole, after a car accident that resulted in the partial loss of both legs, struggled to participate in fun trips and activities. Time after time, she was left behind—not for lack of desire, but because affordable and accessible transportation simply wasn’t available.

Seeing Nicole miss out on so many joyful experiences opened my eyes to a larger issue: countless mobility-challenged individuals and their families are unable to join in the simple pleasures of life due to transportation barriers. This realization inspired me to act. I was determined to ensure Nicole could join me on our adventures.

From this spark of determination, Journey Beyond Barriers was born. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to plan exciting trips and create lasting memories for mobility-challenged individuals and their families. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to explore, connect, and experience the joy of shared adventures, regardless of physical limitations.
